Dianne Davies Memorial Trophy: Nature | Open - August 2018 Competition Results

Hello everyone!

Here are the competition results for August 2018.  The subjects for this month were 'Nature' and 'Open'. In total, we received 96 entries from 21 members. Our judge for the night was David Rowlands, whose first comment on seeing the first section of PDI Nature images said 'this is going to be hard; there are some really good images in that group'..

The number of Print entries were a little better this month, with 24 prints being judged. As much as I personally love the ease of digital entries, there is still something special about looking at a good print!

Congratulations to Graeme Stokes & Helen Lewis on winning the Dianne Davies Memorial Trophy Nature: PDI & Print, respectively. Extra special congratulations to Helen Lewis on clean sweep in Nature Prints - 1st, 2nd & 3rd places!

Winning images - 1st, 2nd & 3rd - in each category are showcased below.
