Long Exposure | Open | Phone Photos | PACC Competition Results - July 2018

Hi everyone, here are the July 2018 competition results.

The subjects for this month were 'Long Exposure' and 'Open' and 'Phone Photos'. In total, we received 85 entries from 22 members. Our judge for the night was Ron Heptinstall.

The number of Print entries were a little low this month, with only 12 prints judged, but that did not mean the competition was of a lower standard - quite the opposite.

The place for top spot in Prints was highly contested, with 3 images in the 'Open' and 2 images in 'Long Exposure' each gaining 10 points - congratulations to Joylene Lee-Archer, Tony Jones & Kim Petersen. See our results below to see who eventually got the much coveted 'Top Spot'.

In Memory of Dianne Davies

on 26th August 2016, we lost a valued and much loved member of our club. Along with Dianne's family & friends, many members of PACC contributed to the GoFundMe campaign to assist with costs associated with Dianne's treatment in Melbourne. After the family paid for everything Dianne needed up until she passed away, there was a considerable amount left which, as per Dianne's wishes, was donated to the Leukaemia Foundation. As a result of this donation, the Leukaemia Foundation have laid a paver in their courtyard in memory of Dianne.

Graham & Jane would like to thank everyone so much for caring so much, for being so generous and for helping Dianne' s memory to live on.

The Port Adelaide Camera Club is that much richer for Dianne's enthusiastic and inspirational contribution: her presence is greatly missed.
