Been thinking about joining our camera club?

If you have been thinking about joining our club, now is the perfect time to do so!

We have a great year planned ...... even bigger & better than last year!

Our first meeting back, on 6th February 2018, will be jam packed with many items of interest. We will have a presentation by Robert Dettman on Architecture Photography which will no doubt provide inspiration for our February competition.

Prospective new members & visitors are most welcome!

Photos from just a small selection of things we did last year are featured in this post!

The committee are working hard in the background refining competition rules and competition subject definitions, as well as working on the calendar for the upcoming year. We are working on a mix of guest speakers, hands on workshops and club outings as well as arranging for a great selection of SAPF judges to judge our competition images.  More details will come as soon as they are available.

We are really looking forward to seeing you at our club rooms at the Maritime Union of Australia Hall, 65 St Vincent Street, Port Adelaide (enter via side door in Hare Street) on Tuesday, 6th February 2018 at 7.30 pm

2018 Membership Fees:
$70 for full membership**
$30 for Associate (non-competing)**
$30 for Juniors (under 18)
**$5 discount for concession card holders

If you're not sure about joining a club just yet, but would like to keep an eye on what is happening at our club, you are most welcome to subscribe to our Newsletter (see link in sidebar), or 'Like' our Facebook page.

Just a few housekeeping points for returning members:
A new membership form is required to be filled in each year, and if you wish to compete, your membership fees will need to be paid in full no later than 17th February 2018.
See the 'Join our Club' tab for the Membership Form.

Members who are submitting Prints on competition nights are requested to be at the club rooms no later than 7.15 pm - this will allow time for the Judge to have a look over the prints before formal judging commences.

Well, that’s it from us for the time being. Stay tuned for our next newsletter, which will have further details on the various activities we have planned for our Club.

PS - if our club is too far away for you, feel free to visit the SAPF website to see a complete list of camera clubs in South Australia (including some country clubs)
